Candle, wax 2 sp 0.25 kg A single candle made from beeswax. Burns brightly and smoke free. Burns for 6 hours and has a pleasant scent.
Candle, temple 5 sp 0.25 kg A single large candle made from wax derived from fruit oils and spices. Burns bright and clean and smoke free. Burns for 12 hours and has a very pleasing fragrance. Often used in temples and religious services.

Chain, light Varies Varies Supports up to 4,000 kg before breaking. Each 5 meter length of light chain weights 3.4 kg and costs 10 sp. Chain does not burn and is very difficult to cut. This chain is strong enough to pull a heavy wagon, tie up a strong ogre and moor a large boat. Chain weighs alot, but this chain could possibly be carried (uncomfortably) by one person, depending on the length.
Chain, medium Varies Varies Supports up to 15,000 kg before breaking. Each 5 meter length of medium chain weights 18 kg and costs 60 sp. This chain could tow a ship or tie up a giant. Lengths of this chain are too heavy to carry comfortably and must be transported by vehicle, such as a cart or wheelbarrow.
Chain, heavy Varies Varies Supports up to 60,000 kg before breaking. Each 5 meter length of heavy chain weights 72 kg and costs 3 gp. This extremely heavy chain could tow a huge ship through rough seas or bind the largest giant. This type of chain is often used in the operation of massive castle gates. Due to its weight, it can only be transported by large vehicles, such as a full sized horse drawn wagon.

5mm diameter hemp rope. Supports 180 kg. Each 5 meters of length costs 5 copper pieces and weighs 0.1 kg. Rope is generally inferior to chain. It can be cut. It will burn. It chafes and can be gradually worn away through excessive abrasion. It is, however, much lighter and cheaper than chain.
